I'm worried about my divorce. I wanted to know how to proceed.

Hi Guys,

In around 2010, I married an Indian with a K1, my ex came here we lived together for a year and half and we just didn't work out because we kept fighting and were miserable, so I got a divorce. This time around too my relationship is long distance. And I am filing for a K1. There are several personal differences. We of coarse get along better and we talked for months before my first visit to my fiancee before I proposed and she accepted. We are just worried, can you guys give us some advice? Should I just go marry her? We are currently waiting for an NOA2 from TSC

Are you worried about the wait at TSC or is it you're worried about your relationship going bad again?

Because to be completely honest no one can tell you to marry someone or not on here.

No one can give you advice on that because we don't know you, or the fiance, and it would be ridiculous to advice you on marriage or not.

This decision is all yours, it's your life and if you want to get married, then go for it, if you have doubts then think about it.

This is between you two, we can help you get there, but we can't help you chose who to marry.

I was worried about a rejection in the TSC process, or the interview at visa time. I am convinced about my personal decisions to want to spend the rest of my life with my fiancee. I don't know how the visa process will treat us, via TSC and then at the consulate with the CO interview.

Okay, nothing to be worried about.

As long as you mentioned it on the I-129f forms when asked and if brought up at the interview make sure your fiancé knows about it and does not lie or hide anything because it could be asked about.

Also make sure to submit your divorce certificate. They probably when you divorced, and they will expect your new fiancee to know that you were married and got divorced. If the two relationships are close together, they might bring that up at the interview, but it seems you got divorced a while ago so I think that will be fine. Just make sure she has answers to any such questions and of course your divorce certificate.

People have gone thorugh this before, you will be fine.

Thanks guys for the support. Yeah the last marriage was 5 years ago, and we got divorced in 1.5 years... so.... I dunt know. I can only hope for the best.
