K3 is virtually obsolete. Please read the k3 forum to see why.

Really? Thanks.

It is still on the the USCIS website. I also talked to an agent last week, after I was finally able to dial in, and he actually suggested this. Then I also talked to one of my former customers who is a an immigrations lawyer. That is odd. Plus, the guide is still on this site for putting together the package and everything. I am taking your advice and I have already been in the section reading some more.

Thanks a lot of this information!! I just did a lot of reading and understand. I don't think it will hurt that we sent it in and it only cost me the postage, because I had all duplicates of the documents. Sounds like they will close it at some point. I am really going to let that lawyer have it though. ;)

Just my opinion, I think that the K3 Guide should be removed from the site, since it is not used anymore. I used that guide to put together everything for the K3 Application I just sent in. Granted, it was definitely my fault for not doing much much more research, but I am sure there are more like me, who may just go to the Guide Section and just apply. Or maybe putting some type of disclaimer on that guide page, and others like it,

We will just suck it up and wait. Thanks again.

K3s occasionally are still granted, and they're still on the books. But in your case, waiting a long time for the i-130, the addition of thr I-129F could possibly pull it out of a black hole and get it looked at.
