Please i need urgent reply my visa has some part that says annotation and that my i 129f expires in july and i want to travel in August those that affect me in any way?

Your visa expires 6 months after your medical. It doesn't matter if the petition has expired because it's the forerunner to the approved visa. You will travel on your K1 visa, not on your petition, so you're fine. Congratulations ?

I had my interview today 07/16/2015 at lagos embassy. My experience was a nice one. After the routine check I walked into the waiting area with my number tag. I waited patiently until my number appeared. He was calm and nice, not intimidating at all. He asked me just 5 questions, after answering, he said "congratulations, your visa is approved". I had just two pictures and some evidence of relationship which I was afraid were not good enough because I couldn't get our conversation log. I didn't allow it get to me. I was confident, the CO was not even interested in what I brought. I think this interview process boils down to how well you know your fiance, sometimes they wanna look into your eyes and see the truth rather than relying on the documents you have to present. For nigerians, my advice on the introduction which is a requirement before marriage in our tradition, do not make the mistake of saying yes if asked if there was any exchange of gift, money or food, also look out for the types of pictures you present because it could be misinterpreted as marriage. We had our introduction too and when asked I said no to those questions. Just before me I watched how a guy tried convincing the CO that the exchange of gifts was a tradition and not the dowry. The CO was not convinced and he was denied. Congratulations to us all who got approved, the wait was a long one and for those still waiting, soon enough the wait will be over. I am totally grateful to all VJ members, your contributions and advices helped me greatly all through this journey. I should have my visa handy in two week.

I read about this too - though I am a few months away from it yet. Timelines are 4 months to GC if your are lucky, more commonly around a year due to the "Interview Waiver". By 12 months, the majority seem to have their GC, some have to wait longer and bug their representatives or the ombudsman.

I am guessing you'll wait longer if you live in an area with a lot of immigrants.

EAD/AP are supposed to show up 90 d from AOS Noa-1 - unless USCIS demans additional initial evidence, then this timeline gets paused.
