I asked for both the case# and invoice#.

They gave me both, not sure why we need the invoice number, but I've seen other people had asked for it, perhaps to track DHL from NVC to the consulate. I have not fully investigated it but I'm seeing that people have tracked their file from NVC to the consulate with DHL

From my understanding once you have the case number you will be able to fill out the d-160 online. If it's any help my fiancé is in the process of getting the police certificate because it's valid for 1 year from issue date. We are also getting the certificate of non-impediment. I was also told once you have the case # you can schedule the medical. I know certain things are specific to each country so j would just check your country specifics. Good luck

I assumed the A# above the beneficiaries name on the NOA2 Hardcopy was the beneficiary id #, just to be sure, is the beneficiary number you received today the same as the number above your beneficiaries name on your NOA2 hardcopy?

I'll check and get back to you

The Beneficiary # on the I-797 (noa2) is not the same as the Beneficiary ID # you get from NVC

You should get from NVC : Case #

Invoice #

Beneficiary ID #

You need the invoice number for when you make payment to the embassy.

After being on hold for 55 minutes,I finally have my NVC case, beneficiary ID and Invoice ID numbers! :dancing: Phew! (Sudden adrenaline rush...)

Good to hear.

I scheduled my appointment for monday. Leave to Dominican Republic on Friday ??. So scared and excited.

Nice.

The Beneficiary # on the I-797 (noa2) is not the same as the Beneficiary ID # you get from NVC

You should get from NVC : Case #

Invoice #

Beneficiary ID #

You need the invoice number for when you make payment to the embassy.

Thank you for checking...now I have to call back and get the beneficiary ID.

Seems like some of us will get K1 visa this month :)

I'm so excited to hear from August filers get visa soon!!!

It means mine will be coming soon too.

I just came back from seeing my fiancé...so sad to be away from him again but since our process is moving forward, we both said it'll be over soon <3

Anyways so what I'm understanding from what everyone said is after about 2weeks from NOA2, everyone get their all numbers ....correct?

Your USCIS case will update giving you a date of when it was sent to NVC or DOS.....you should be able to get your numbers about 10 days from the date from which it was sent.
