I think the general consensus on VJ is to wait at least 10 days(business days I believe) before calling NVC and also to ignore the 35 day wait time that is stated in the recorded message when calling.

The NVC number to call is: 603-334-0700 you will need: SRC receipt number from USCIS Name and Date of Birth of Beneficiary Name and Date of Birth of Petitioner There open until Midnight.

the Embassy in Cyprus is frustrating submitted my documents and its been more than a week and no interview date yet ,called the embassy and all what they keep saying is we are reviewing ur case,how long do they take to review the case?

Just wanted to update you all very quickly. Not really had time to check the forum the last few weeks, but I arrived in the USA on June 1st. It's good to be home! We are getting married this weekend. I'm so excited to be married to the love of my life!

Our visa got approved yesterday! I (chilean citizen) had my interview in Santiago and everything went pretty well. I was asked the typical questions (where/how we met, how many times we've seen each other, plans in the US and that's it.) There weren't many people and it probably took me 50 minutes to go through everything. I should have the passport in a couple of days and I'm planning on travelling in early July. Our wedding is on July 18. Best wishes to everyone on this topic :)

Sorry to bring this up once again but any information or advice will greatly help. My ex attorney still will not respond or make contact with me after several attempts and I am fairly certain she has the original approval notice. My approval notice specifically stated the original would be sent to the attorney on record. I have called USCIS several times to try and obtain the original document and they won't do anything for me. Is the original notice needed at the interview or just for AOS? Still haven't gotten the interview date but if it is required at the interview I am just worried I am running out of time. I really don't want to get another attorney involved just to get this notice!
