I think the general consensus on VJ is to wait at least 10 days(business days I believe) before calling NVC and also to ignore the 35 day wait time that is stated in the recorded message when calling.

The NVC number to call is: 603-334-0700 you will need: SRC receipt number from USCIS Name and Date of Birth of Beneficiary Name and Date of Birth of Petitioner There open until Midnight.

I hope that this doesn't take too long. Somehow the not knowing is more painful than just being able to know what you are dealing with.

It's comforting (somewhat) to see that you have not been denied. Hopefully that gives you some scope with which to work. Please keep us posted. I tend not to ask questions of you because I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you.

My fiance received his Visa via courier yesterday! Wedding June 21st :). Exciting times! Congrats to everyone and best of all luck to anyone waiting!

Thanks, You guys could of asked, I don't have any problems with that..I have been posting in other Topics trying to find out more about inadmissibility, waivers, form i-601....finally had to contact an attorney to help me with the waiver..the consular has kept us in the dark for about a week and when they finally did respond they really confused us by telling me one reason for the inadmissibility and telling my fiance a different reason for the inadmissibility all within hours, both of which weren't even the original reason for the inadmissibility..one of which is just outlandish..another of which we think is the cause was something her ex-husband did in which my fiance wasn't present and had no part of, he forged his visa about 10 years ago. Therefore had to get an attorney.

SINCE THE BEGINNING OF 2015 THE CONSULATE IN HAITI STOPPED USING HAITI MESSENGER; THEY NOW USE DHL INTERNATIONAL THERE ARE (4) LOCATIONS: PORT-AU-PRINCE, CARREFOUR, PETION-VILLE, AND CAP-HAITIEN. THE ADDRESS AND HOURS OF OPERATION ARE LOCATED IN MY PROFILE ABOUT ME.

  •  We stayed 6 days at the Kemael Hotel Tabarre 58, Rue C. Sylvain #4 Tabarre Haiti $80.00USD per night. It is off Boulevard 15 Octobre
  •  Or you can stay at the Le Monte Cristo Hotel & Suites Tabarre 60, Boulevard 15 Octobre, Tabarre Haiti $90.00USD per night.

  • As of October 4, 2016 Still waiting for RFE hardcopy to come in the mail, called USCIS on September 30, 2016 no help.
  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

Hey everyone,

I got approved may 21!

Does anyone know if once we have our NVC number if we can just go ahead and do the medical and DS160 ?

Or do we have to wait for the embassy to tell us to go ahead?

My wedding has been booked for September 20, and I have all the documents needed already but wanna save time in case there's delays at NVC etc.

My fiancé is coming in 8 days for a final visit and I'm going to the us on the 6 of august. I still have some things to do here and my wedding dress will only be ready to pick up in jully. Waiting until august will be easy now that I have my visa! :D
