Yes! I can't update my Timeline don't know what's wrong with it but our interview is on 05/21/15..

Your interview is the same week as ours.

I wonder what's happening with the time lines. Several people have said they can't update. Ours seems to be fine. Weird!

I think the general consensus on VJ is to wait at least 10 days(business days I believe) before calling NVC and also to ignore the 35 day wait time that is stated in the recorded message when calling.

The NVC number to call is: 603-334-0700 you will need: SRC receipt number from USCIS Name and Date of Birth of Beneficiary Name and Date of Birth of Petitioner There open until Midnight.

Our case status all of a sudden changed to "Ready". I've been checking it at least twice everyday and it never said it was in transit. So that was another relief :)

I'm thinking that waiting to receive the visa will be quite nice if the person that interview us tells us that we are approved! If the say nothing or something vague then waiting to receive your passeport would be horrible indeed

How long does your embassy take, on average, to issue the visa after approval?

They told me just a few days.. today was a week since my interview so I was getting a little concerned and I called them. It was sent by courier on Monday and today is Thursday here.. they checked the status with the courier and said it was out for delivery.... it arrived within the hour.

I have booked flights and leave tomorrow afternoon.. it will take around 29 hours including layover time and I will be home... at last.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

We are. One way tickets for the same routes cost almost three times as much as a round trip. I'll call the airline a few days before the return date and tell them we can't make it.

Thank you yes.. it is totally surreal... I have said my goodbyes and now sitting in the departure lounge due to leave in about 45 mins on the 29 hour journey.. I'm having trouble believing it.

Thank you for your support also. Its a tough process and we deserve happiness... You'll be there soon also :yes:
