Oh ok

I thought I need to have my fiancé'so tax paper which is the one he will get after he filed ones.

I need to ask my fiancé!!

Depending on the state ur fiancee is in it can take up to 3 weeks for the returns to come back, the federal one is usually within a week. Tokyo Embassy recved our paper work but I guess they sent packet 3 during golden week and we haven't gotten it yet. =[ Is the Tokyo packet 3 only ds-160? What else is there do u have to do?

Do DS160 then make profile

Police record

Medical

Then interview with all the papers they need.

What else could go wrong?

Today we receive an email from the consulate stating :

Please find enclosed a letter which explains the existence of ineligibility under section 212 (a) (6) © (i) if, however, you can apply for a "waiver" the link to this objective is at the foot of the letter we sent you.

Section 212 (a)(6)©(i) is about committing fraud to enter the US. Under certain conditions the penalty is a lifetime ban of entering the US.

They do not explain what it is for, but the only action to commit fraud to enter the US was by her ex-husband by altering the visa expiration date in HIS passport of a family visa that was issued years ago in which my fiance was not present at the time he attempted to enter the US.

I am not sure what to do at this point, the waiver application fee is $585, but if it was her ex-husband and not her who try to commit the fraud I don't see why I would need to apply for a waiver. This more like extortion.

I did write the Consul back to explain that it wasn't my fiance and if they could look into further.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. The only suggestion anyone here can make is you might need an attorney to give you better representation.

I had to call the hotline of usvisa-info (website we have to log in to book an apointment for an interview) to get a simple answer about the payment of the fees. The person I had online was very confused about the process and didn't believe me when I told her that I had to book the interview online. I belive that the process used to be diferent but clearly it changed now and I don't know for you guys but I can speak for France. We receive instructions in the packet 3, telling us to book an apointment (we chose the date online) and pay the fees on usvisa-info.
The person I had online was not only not answering my question about the payment but was misleading me. She told me to contact the embassy and that they would be the ones to set the apointment and that it was the only way. She was rude and only had outdated informations. I tried to explain to her that there had been changes and that it didn't work like that anymore and she was just denying it. I hanged up and called again and got someone who had updated and helpful informations.

Long story short, if you have a problem with the website and you call them, all employees aren't very awware of how things work so do not hesitate to call back.

For the Bolivian embassy, payments are to be made the day of the interview. If I were you I would email the embassy and let them know you paid in advance.

I know we discussed this the other day, but I want to double check. My fiancé got a letter saying about the affidavit of support and mentioned both I-134 and also I-864. We only need the I-134 for k1 correct?

Yes. Only the I-134. The other form I think is completed for AOS.

You also don't need to prove income every which way for London. One or two forms of proof with the I-134 will be fine :)

Thank you!!!! Looks like all I'm waiting on is Scott's interview date. Wonder how long it will take to get that?

I hope you hear from them soon. I just posted about this earlier today http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/542752-progress-thread-for-tsc-filers-now-between-nvc-and-interview-stage/?p=7611517

At this stage, you really want to be on the UK regional forum. There are so many variations between the different embassies and it can get very confusing because the rules for one are not the same as for another. It is being discussed on the last couple of pages of this thread today :)http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/542752-progress-thread-for-tsc-filers-now-between-nvc-and-interview-stage/page-38#entry7611517
