Do you still have to have the photo endorsed? I don't know how it works now, but just after I applied for mine, I read that you can apply online now. I'm assuming digital photo (?) How do you endorse a digital photo? As I say, I haven't looked into it myself as mine was done in December.

Also, regarding turnaround time, I had mine back in a week, even though it was right before Christmas with warnings about delays with the overloaded mail system. You should be fine. :)

So maybe a neighbor, friend or someone? We are both so stressed. He knows ppl in the occupations but all are related to him. I just want to get things moving ugh!

Let me ask you this, if he has relatives in those occupations, don't those relatives have co-workers with the same occupation? Can't one of those co-workers endorse him?

Darn :( Follow the suggestions above. It shouldn't be a problem. I called the ACPO office when I applied because I was going away for Christmas and worried about the signed for delivery and they were so nice. A real phone number with real, friendly people to talk to. He can always call for advice if it makes him feel better.

He did call

And they gave him a bit of a hassle.

They are lawyers. He doesn't know the coworkers personally, being lawyers they won't do it as it isn't "legal". We thought of that too

The firm I work for will endorse a new client's passport photo, as long as they bring photo verification and proof of address with them to the appointment. Could he try call around and see if one of the other law firms has someone wiling to do it? My Dad took his to the Police Station just after he moved and they did it for him on the above basis.

When is a good time to call NVC, and which number do you call?

The number is +1-603-334-0700. A good time would be in the morning between 7am to 9am. I called the first time and got through, was on hold for 20 minutes. Just follow the options the recorder says..Also make sure you have your own date of birth and fiance's date of birth and your USCIS case number ready. Goodluck

We really didn't' have a choice, packet 4 came with an interview date assigned, April 30th, and it just said show up then. I guess if we really had to we could of called, but we just want to get the interview over, done with, and be together already.

Congratulations on getting your interview date!! Good luck with everything. Its so good to see everyone happy here and close to being with our loved ones soon. :)

Hi everyone, does anyone have any idea on how long a Medical Examination is valid for? Is the time frame for which it is valid the same for all US Embassies?

Its almost 2 weeks and NVC still have my documents, so how long does our documents have to stay with them before sending it to my embassy

Your not the only, my case has also been there for nearly 2 weeks too since 2nd of April. It should be out to our assigned embassy or consulate soon later this week or maybe next week. Keep your head high, it'll come around soon. Maybe you can read up things on how your embassy or consulate deals with K1 Fiance Visas and get the required documentation ready.

After this long process and some time after its all over and we are all settled in with our finaces/husband/wives, I feel like there should be some kind of reunion for us all. I know its impossible but its the kind of feeling that I get when I read the posts of people asking questions and recieving help from others, seeing others progress, saying and receiving congratulations on the different stages. Its like we are the Class of August 2014.
