Yes, you're right. If you can't upload a photo, you just take one to the interview. I didn't realize Amachuma wanted that as an option.

Apologies if I made you panic by now being clear. You haven't done anything wrong. Just go get some US sized visa photos done before your interview.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I think the general consensus on VJ is to wait at least 10 days(business days I believe) before calling NVC and also to ignore the 35 day wait time that is stated in the recorded message when calling.

The NVC number to call is: 603-334-0700 you will need: SRC receipt number from USCIS Name and Date of Birth of Beneficiary Name and Date of Birth of Petitioner There open until Midnight.

This is great timing because I'm just completing mine and I have enough recent (right size) photos and dropped my laptop a few days ago and damaged it so can't use the CD. I was thinking I could use someone elses, but I'd rather just take the photos I have with me, then I'm all finished with this part. ... now just waiting for Packet 3 :clock:

Sorry to hear about your laptop :( I first mis-read your post and thought you meant borrowing someone else's photos, then realized you were talking about the laptop. It might be time for me to go to bed.

We have our medical on Saturday morning so we are heading to London as soon as I'm finished work tomorrow.

Our case is not at the embassy yet, but it is showing as in the country now so it should be 'ready' tomorrow or Monday. London has an approximate 4-6 week time span between medical and interview at present. Hoping yours is faster!

Yes, I've been messing with the DS 160 today too, which is how I remembered the photo thing.

It's a non immigrant visa, but with immigrant intent.

So yes, the actual visa is non immigrant, but it is processed the same way as immigrant visas because they assume you are going to stay in the US permanently. Hope that makes sense.

Hi all, NVC forwarded our case to Mumbai a week ago, and tracking DHL, it seems that our case was delivered to the consulate earlier this week. However, our CEAC case status still indicates "In Transit".

1. When was your case status updated from "In Transit" to "Ready"?

2. Should I call the Mumbai consulate to make sure they have received it? I don't believe they have my fiance's email address, so I am not sure how they will send her instructions/Packet 3?

Thanks for all your help, and great to see cases moving forward.

I received the hardcopy of my NOA2 yesterday, however I still haven't received anything saying that my case has been sent to the NVC. My NOA2 date is April 6. Should I be worried? Looking at wbeem's timeline, it seems like things have moved pretty fast for him. So far, I haven't called anybody or have done anything.
