how do you know when the case is sent to NVC? I was stuck in TSC for so long that I didn't bother to read up on what to do after receiving an NOA2. The only thing I am aware of is that I need a case #. I got my NOA2 last night. Should I be worried about following up on something immediately?

You will get notified by TSC through email and text just like they did for your approval. It can take a couple of days for them to send it to NVC. Then it's about another week for the NVC to receive it.

The devil is a liar. How did they messed up my email address. I just spoke to a very nice lady at NVC to confirm our invoice and beneficiary number. And when she read my email address to me it was wrong but thank God she updated it. She said our case is at the embassy electronically that is in the building but not receive in hand yet. She advice that I fill the DS 160 now and also write an email to the consulate with our case number, my name and beneficiary name and date of birth informing them that I just updated my email address and also give them the right one. Goodness the first time I called for our case number, a lady repeated it to me but I was too excited to hear anything. Lol..

My fiancé completed the DS-160 (London) and it didn't ask for payment. I thought they had to submit a payment for this.

I asked the lady at NVC about payment and she said follow the information on the consulate website. We will be filling out ours today. When I was checking the consulate requirement it says there is $240 to be paid at the consulate. I am a bit confuse about all this too.

I just found something on the British embassy page that you pay the fee after getting an interview date. Maybe the same for you?? Wish things were cut and dry.

Our packet (from NVC) was delivered to the embassy 3 days ago. I haven't received any notification/packet 3 yet. They dont have my email address. How long would it normally take, or should I be calling them? I called the doctors about the medical but they wont do it till I have the instructions in packet 3.

I don't have the page open right now, but there is a panel of tabs on the left of the screen where you can choose which section you want to edit. Is the option for photo showing there?

Sounds to me like they give you the option to either include the photo or take it with you, so it shouldn't matter if you take a printed copy(ies) if it is closing you out from accessing the information again.

Yes, you're right. If you can't upload a photo, you just take one to the interview. I didn't realize Amachuma wanted that as an option.

Apologies if I made you panic by now being clear. You haven't done anything wrong. Just go get some US sized visa photos done before your interview.

You're fine, my friend. You've haven't messed anything up. :)

This is great timing because I'm just completing mine and I have enough recent (right size) photos and dropped my laptop a few days ago and damaged it so can't use the CD. I was thinking I could use someone elses, but I'd rather just take the photos I have with me, then I'm all finished with this part. ... now just waiting for Packet 3 :clock:
