In reference to the DHL tracking, I vaguely remember the original thread that I found on the subject stating something about starting the search on a Thursday, I thought the poster was speaking about as specific package, but after playing with it several times i have noticed that the majority, if not exclusively, all of the packages are being sent out on Thursdays.....So I would suggest when you do your search start with the Thursday that follows your "In-Transit" status change date.

It's the NVC case number - this is your consulate specific number, which you need for the embassy where you submit the DS160

Try other dates as well in case I am incorrect....but every Thursday I did check turned up results...also it appears that it is entered in the system on a Thursday, but it doesn't actually move until the following day (Friday).

I still can't get it to work. It's prob me and I'm doing something wrong. I know it will get there, just thought it would be fun to watch it and see how long it takes.

Oh, I asked the agent how long it takes and he said it's quick to get to London. Usually about four or five days.

It was the USCIS receipt number for me. It told me my number was invalid when putting in the NVC case number, but accepted the receipt number.

How long did you wait to try the CEAC checker? We only got our NVC number today, but the CEAC site throws it out with a message: Your search did not return any data.

Is that because it's too early to use it, or should I call back and make sure the number is correct? There won't be anything to check on there, but I will want to monitor the case status in the next few days.

I got the same message. Maybe because I got my case number today. I will try again tomorrow.

My original response was for someone talking about the DS160 which is separate from what you're talking about.

The answer to your question though: I used my NVC number and had to select IMMIGRATION VISA in order for it to show results. It didn't work for NON IMMIGRANT VISA. See if that works for you. It worked for me a day later.

congratulations, i thought all August filers were approved by now

No, sadly there are still some waiting, despite no RFE's and I don't think any or many of those with RFE's have been approved yet either.

Yes, I think we are slightly impatient. We endured TSC. We earned it. I will try again tomorrow and if it doesn't work I will call and ask them to double check the number. However, having seen you also have the same issue, it is more likely that we are too early to use it just yet.
