I need more coffee! I don't know why I had said France. I had intended to ask about the process for your consulate. I have no idea where France came from. You must have wondered what in the world I was thinking. The answer is, I have no idea.

That may explain why some stay longer at NVC than others. I looked at the link you posted and the different process may be part of the reason. Or, this could all mean nothing. Who knows.

That second confirms what I suspected. London has the petition shipped out. No interview date is in the pipeline there until the petition is received, packet 3 is sent out, forms completed, medical completed and results forwarded to the embassy. So I'm assuming this is not the case for consulates which operate on this basis.

I'm pretty sure ours is the same.. I'd always understood that was the case and it only takes a couple of weeks to get an interview at the most. So wondering why it is still sitting at NVC?

Just checked ours and it says the same. Is this standard wording and a confused agent at the NVC?

Yes, that's what we understood.

Mine says the same on the hardcopy NOA2 that it was sent to the Consulate...

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

It surely can't be that difficult for them to have a set procedure laid out for us so that we know what to expect and can plan accordingly. This cannot possibly need to be as complicated and inconsistent as it appears.

You were correct, you were asking someone else whose consulate was France, I just chimed in a gave you a link to their consulate information.

If you are still interested in ours, it is Bolivia, and they require medical 10 days or less prior to the interview date, therefore we have to wait for the interview to be appointed, we cannot do anything with our numbers at this point except DS-160.

Has anyone received anything in the mail, email, or text from the NVC?

I haven't, I ask because when I made my first call it said something about receiving instructions on the recording.

Since we are fortunate enough to have this website, we know we should call and obtain our numbers etc., I can't imagine what the people who are not on this website are thinking, doing, and just wait blindly.

Yes I checked my mailbox on Saturday and I received the official letter from NVC stating it was sent to embassey but my embassey is pretty low key we fill everything out and make our own apt

Just called the NVC and was told that they received our file just today, and that it will take 42 days to enter it in their system. The good news is that they received it. It kinda baffles me that two different agents would give me two completely different information on our file.

Check your consulate to see the next step as it varies regionally.

Is it strange that I'm ridiculously excited about your news? Your case shipped the day before ours. Guess what number I'm calling in my much hour tomorrow ... :D
