Good Afternoon All

My file was received by NVC a week ago and assigned the new LND case number. In peoples experience how long does it usually stay there before shipping to London. I just read in another forum that it depends on the consulate into the length of time and the shipping method.

What have people experienced in London for this part?

Thanks in advance for any help

Jay

If the case number is already assigned I'm betting it'll be in London in a week.

You can check your status with your case number here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/(use the IMMIGRANT option)

It should say "In Transit" if it's been sent from NVC already and then "Ready" once it has arrived.

They ship with DHL so once in transit it takes 3-5 days to get to London.

Good luck! :)

The bit that says NVC has scheduled your interview only applies to CR-1 (spouse) visas as the NVC schedules those interviews. This is a standard message so we, as K1 applicants, see it also. In fact, for K1's, the embassy themselves schedule the interview and won't do so until they have received the medical results (for the UK at least) so you interview will not have been scheduled yet do not worry. Regardless of your embassy, no ones K1 interview is scheduled prior to the approved petition arriving from NVC.

This is the UK forum so I would recommend looking in the regional forum specific to your fiance for more advice.
