I would like to get my mum to the US this summer. However, for personal reasons I am unable to sponsor / provide any kind of support to her on her visa process. I am on H4 dependent visa valid until 2016.

I am keen to understand if there are possibilities to apply tourist visa for my mum who will be applying from India to join me ?

She will of course declare in her application that I am her daughter and other details about me however, do I need to send an invitation letter or any other details in support of her application?

Can her tourist visa application process progress without having to involve me?

Your help will be much appreciated

hi

you cannot sponsor her, she must file for a tourist visa based on her own merits. She will have to show strong ties to her country

there is nothing that you can do or have to do

It is her application and your involvement is neither possible or beneficial.
