I just wanted to make sure, because someone just pointed this out to me. My fiance is getting close to scheduling her K-1 interview. Our 5 yr old child is a dual citizen I believe, born in the Philippines and we've also obtained his US Consular Report Birth Abroad certificate. He has both a Philippine and US passport.

From my understanding, he does not need any kind of visa... I think he can come to the US any time. But since I wasn't sure, I listed his name as her child on the K-1 application forms. Is there anything special that we need to present for him at the K-1 interview? Is there anything that would prevent him from coming with my fiance to the US?

Yep, nothing to do but get on the plane with his passport.

No. You get a certificate of registration of foreign birth and a US passport. The child is a United States citizen, does not need a visa to enter the United States, and is entitled to a passport.

A US Citizen, child or adult, does not need a K2 visa. They need a US passport....

What if im trying to get a k-1 visa for my fiance who lives in Aruba has a son whos almost 10 and is also from Aruba. Does he need a k-2? Or can he come over based on my fiances k-1 which lists him as her child.....and is then issued a K-2 visa.

Read up on K-2 Visas and how they are processed along with the K-1.

You answered your own question - the child is a USC and has a U.S. passport... U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter their own country ;) It is good you listed the child on the I-129F anyway, that is correct to do. And you have completed CRBA so all is good for sure.

Is he your biological son? If you are the child of a US citizen who was a US citizen at the time of your birth, you are born a US citizen no matter where in the world you were born. If so you are entitled to a US passport and do not need any visa of any kind to enter the United States. You just need a certificate of registration of birth abroad (or something like that), and then you use that to get your passport.

Yup, he's my biological son and he already has a US passport. It sounds like he won't have any problems coming here. :)
