Jobs program for ISIS the solution, not killing them

Sounds very honorable, reaching out to the chaps and setting up a jobs program for them. I'm sure the American taxpayer will be quick to pony up for this. What of the jobs programs created in America? And clearly, this has nothing to do with religion.

Absolutely agree, more hot air from the administration unwilling to accept what the source of the problem and address it head on. A jobs fair sounds good, kind of like a polio vaccination campaign, oh wait, that didn't work out so well. And as Joe Biden so eloquently put it, we must come understand the alienation of these young men to understand what drives them. I tell you what drives them, they want to eliminate you Joe and every other infidel. Probably not a good time to engage them in a "dialogue".

Probably not going away anytime soon. Since he's created so many jobs here maybe he thinks that will work there. Is not an issue of religion, but being disenfranchised and alienated. I cannot believe that woman said that and when pressed to see if she misspoke she defended her statement. And, we don't want call call the 21 Coptic Christians, Christians because that would offend Muslims so we call them "Egyptian citizens". Well I bet the Coptic Christians are offended as well as the 21 young men and their families.

The actual and easy to understand point that the spokesperson was attempting to make is that there's neither an easy nor a purely military solution. It's really easy to understand. Not for the hotair.com audience, of course.

I'll repeat it again for those that are a bit slower on the uptake and for those occupying the cheap seats in the back: The actual point made is that there is neither an easy nor a purely military solution. It's a complex issue that requires a complex response. It requires a hell of a lot more than the military will ever be able to deliver. It is worth remembering that ISIS grew out of the very military adventure that we stupidly began a dozen years back.
