Just one question: Is it a standard that they put the couple into two separated rooms and ask the same questions????

I am surprised with the list and to be honest I don't even know some answers about my own self, lol. Side of the bed? Hehe, I move a lot and I can wake up even on the floor, lol!!

Hopefully everything goes well for the couple!

It is not standard. A couple is typically first interviewed together. They do not do a stokes interview unless they believe there is something suspicious with the case. Also, if adjusting from a K-1, they don't usually ask many questions at the interview and understand that you are just married and don't have a lot of joint evidence of marriage.

They will ask anything and everything, there really is no set list of questions. If you are a legitimate couple, you'll be fine.

Wow, that IS shocking coming from a Canadian! God knows we dont move to the US for a better life lol I love love love America :dance: , but my life was easier in Canada in many ways. But again, wouldn't trade it for anything.

In any case, let us know, OP! The thing is, if a person is really married and in love, this stoke interview would not even be stressful because it's all things you would know. Well, it would be stressful but what I mean is, wouldn't be hard to pass.

I'm praying for you and wish you the best!!! I'm sure it will be fine!

LOL! My thoughts exactly. Maybe for the weather this winter is brutal up north. We shall see what happens. Hope it goes well for them!

I thought OP is filing AOS inside US since OP entered US on B2?

Was struggling with basic questions. All I need is a birth certificate in long form and he said I will have my greencard.

Would an agent ever say it's a done deal when its really not? Kinda worried now that the wife and I had a chance to get home and talk it over. We had a few conflicting answers.

They would be surprised if you both had identical answers for every question. A few is good, means your answers were not scripted. A lot could be bad.

Done deal is usually a done deal, although sometimes when the case is reviewed, another issue comes up.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
