Hi everyone, my petition has finally reached the embassy in London today. Does anyone know about how long it takes for the benificiary to receive packet 3? And can you schedule your medical appt before getting packet 3,as long as you have police certificate etc.?

I scheduled my medical appointment before I received packet 3, as long as you have your case number beginning LDN and know that your case has arrived in London you should be ok. They schedule appointments pretty quickly, i.e. 2 days notice. I saved about a week by getting my medical in before the packet 3 arrived. Have you got all your vaccinations - especially MMR, flu and diptheria, tetanus? It saves a lot of hassle at the AOS stage if the doctor at Knightsbridge has signed off all your vaccinations.

Thank you for your response :) the embassy was trying to say to wait for packet 3, but I thought the same as you that you only need the case number, police certificate and passport photos. Yeah my fiancé is scheduled for his vaccinations for january 20th. How long did it take for you to receive packet 3?
