My petition was received on January 9th, 2015 and so far nada. No updates whatsoever. I've called their customer service center many times and every time I get the same answer :(

Eventually the agent agreed to submit a case inquiry on my behalf, but only after my case passed the "normal processing times". That was on Sept 16th. The agent said to call back after 30 days in case there's no reply because something is supposed to show up in their systems then. Well, that didn't happen. I called back today and nothing. Now they've told me to email the tsc.ncscfollow@uscis.dhs.gov address, which is supposed to be the next tier. But again, "expect a reply within 21 days". What are they doing over there??? The open endedness of this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. Wouldn't they save a lot of time for their agents if they would just regularly update petitioners with the status?

What sucks is that because you never know when you'll get an update or an RFE, you can't plan anything.

I am encouraged by seeing that other Jan petitioners just started receiving updates. Hopefully we'll get ours soon too!!!

Im in the same boat as you. I filed an inquiry September 15th. Today was the " deadline" for them to respond and haven't heard nothing. I was also told to send an email to that same address you provided and expect a response in 21 days. LOL oh yea just like I'd receive a response from the inquiry i submitted ???. I submitted a 2nd inquiry today which I'm sure once again will be a waste of time

I am a January 20th filer and was finally able to file an inquiry. They said to expect to hear a response by November 6th and if they go beyond that I'm going to cry, this is so frustrating. Why is it there's no one higher up you can talk to?

Well i filed my 2nd inquiry last friday since they never replied to the first one. Got an email saying should expect a response by November 7th. Just like when i filed the first inquiry Sept 15th and got an email back saying i should get a response by October 7th, then was told when on phone with USCIS no by October 16th because they have 30 day leeway to respond to inquiries lol. It doesn't matter anymore I'm moving out of the states. I got my plane ticket and im leaving in a few months. I've already been submitting paperwork, have a lawyer setting up things in her country for me to come there. Even if they were to approve me today or tmrw id cancel it. At this point its entertainment for me wondering if theyll ever respond to me. i guess i enjoy torturing myself going on here seeing you all in the same boat as myself or when i go on uscis and see that my latest status is my case has been received lol. Good luck to all those still waiting.

Yes, I received a response to my inquiry filed on October 15th.it only said that it's under extended review, meaning they are behind. It is so frustrating!and I can't file for another one until after 30 days after my first filed inquiry. I am a January 20th filer.
