That's great! Something closer to look forward to. We have also begun to discuss a possible summer visit, just to make the wait more manageable. Not sure if it's feasible, depends on his job but we'll figure it out.

Yeah I'm going crazy thinking about all the "what ifs" (like if I'd been registered in California where I go to school instead of Maine, or had sent the app in later) but it's no good. What's done is done etc.

Please tell me that is not a picture of where all our files are sitting at the TSC. Somehow I think it might really be like that with dust gathering on top of all the boxes filled with our petitions.

My fiance will be here for the summer - June through end of August to look at houses and get everything squared away for his Master's program at Uni here so he of course will have to resign at his job as they will not grant an extended leave. Fortunately he can do odd things here and there when he returns but we hope for at least an NOA2 before he goes home August 28th.

My fiancé arrives here this coming Monday for a month. We can't take it any longer waiting at the TSC for who knows how long. At least we will have a month but then he will return to Holland until we hear something. My heart goes out to everyone on this journey and all we can do is hope and pray that somehow someone will pick up these files and process them.

I'm going mid June to visit my fiance and am hoping for the same but definitely not holding my breath and am truthfully expecting to be let down by TSC once again.

I empathize...I feel the same. But try not to get your hopes up - I have done it a few times before and always ended up being crushed.

I myself am expecting End of August, and I filed a month before you - though with their haphazard processign these days this doesn't have to mean much.

I'm tending to think early to mid-August for us January filers.

Not sure why you're long-shotting it so much... may it's just not to get your hopes up - which is a very good idea! ;)

I am a January filer and according to the stats here those of us at the TSC are looking at August. Of course, we are hoping sooner if it is true that they have hired more workers there but I will take that very lightly. My fiancé will be here for a month so that will help us pass the time. We all will keep hoping and praying and maybe this year it will happen!

I'm sorry, I do not have a crystal ball - no way to predict what approval times will be like at the end of the year. Not enough data to model anything either.

If I were you I would apply asap.

I feel totally frustrated this week. I was at the store with my son this morning and he asked me when my fiance will be here and I said as soon as the immigration people let him and asked if he remembered what that meant and he said very loudly yes mommy those are the slow jackasses that cant process papers. Apparently I may have said that a few too many times and he overheard me. Everyone in the store thought he was cute and funny, I on the other hand felt horrible that my 7 year old said jackass and that he learnt it from me.

A light at the end of the horrible TSC tunnel perhaps?

I've started tracking all TSC 129F petitions electronically and updating them in real-time to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of TSC processing times: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/548621-finally-real-time-data-on-tsc-129f-receipt-numbers-src/.

Please let me know if you want to get the updates.
