Still just waiting, planning my 3rd trip to Dubai in 2 months. The trips are always enjoyable but I cant but help think of all of the other things I could use the money for.

I agree; I'm in Australia now and Ellen will visit the U.S. in July...money we'd rather be putting towards our future life together...on the plus though,I got to escape the last of the US winter and she'll get some sun in the US midway through her winter!

Gotta look for the positives right?!!

I wish that he was able to come here and visit that would make all of this so much easier. But being from Nigeria and living and working in Dubai it is near impossible for him to get a tourist visa so all of the traveling is on me. I am hoping that with the new routing of the cases that it will have some affect and am still holding out that maybe we can get a late June or July approval instead of the late August date on my timeline. Hope in this situation is a hard thing to hold on to lately.

My fiance lives in Canada. I'm fortunate enough that we are on the same time zone so we can spend several hours on Skype. We rarely visit because airfare is so astronomically high that we'd both rather just save the money. He's only ever been here once and I there once. It's frustrating that we can't see each other as often as we'd like but I'm very lucky to be able to use Skype and text him through the day.

I feel for people who have fiances overseas and very rarely even get the opportunity to Skype or call afforded to them.

Yes flying is too expensive and we want to save the money for our wedding and everything else we have to do. I am grateful for Skype even though we have a six hour time difference. It helps but its not the same as us being together Are we going to see the TSC expedite any petitions quicker since the 'transfers'. Has anyone that has been stuck in the hole in Texas for a time been transferred? I haven't heard very much about it.

I'm not sure we will see a HUGE difference. Perhaps a small one due to filipino petitions routed directly to CSC as well. So we wont have to deal with them being put over our files. There hasn't been any real transfers since they did the one in August. I think people who are way past their processes time (according to the USCIS website) can create a inquiry for it, but it hasn't been clear if that does anything to assist.

I read a post about a July case that is still waiting. It's absolutely heartbreaking so see how long the person has still been waiting JUST to have their petition approved. That doesn't even factor in the NVC/Consulate time.

But then again, someone in December with TSC got approved a few weeks ago. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to anything.

It makes perfect sense actually they are playing minecraft with the boxes and if they take the petitions out of them there will be nothing to stabilize them and their whole world will come crashing down. Sorry sometimes humor is the only thing that helps.

I agree there will not be a huge difference as no actual pending cases will be transferred there will just be no new boxes to add onto their minecraft world and no filipino files jumping in front of everyone. Im hoping for a little bit of a decrease in processing time though.

I pray to be one of those random approvals one day.

LOL cute analogy. I read that it takes an adjudicator 15 mins to decide if a petition is approved or not. The other 45 minutes in the hour are spent on smoke breaks, at the water cooler, playing browser games, facebooking, and flirting with Tina in accounting.

I would be surprised if it even takes that long. Those guys must keep Tina in accounting very busy, is it odd that in my imagination all of the adjudicators are men?

On wednesday I broke down and called in and requested an expedite, I did this previously and got an email the next day saying it was denied for lack of evidence even though they never requested any. I am a little hopeful this time it was assigned early yesterday morning and there is no word back on it yet but this time it was submitted with a lot of evidence I made the lady on the phone give me the email to send it to so they couldn't use that excuse again. Its so hard to hold out hope for anything at TSC but a small part of me still has some hope that someone in the vastness of TSC still has a heart and that person is the one assigned to review the request.

MY PEOPLE.

Accidentally opened the regular January filers thread... that was a big mistake and now my blood pressure is through the roof! Our NOA is January 6th and I've tried my best to just ignore the whole thing but I pop on here every once in awhile, and learning all this stuff about CSC vs TSC is... depressing, to say the least.

How is everyone holding up? Tomorrow is May 1st, cross another month off! We want to get married at my parents' place in Maine so I'm just hoping we can manage it all before November's cold, gray weather hits. But of course at this point I'd take November over the alternative, which seems to be "NEVER!".

Fiancé is in Spain and I'm currently in California, moving to Colorado next month. So that's a 9-hr time difference and >$1,000 plane ticket we've been dealing with for almost two years now (one visit per year). Fatigue is starting to set in. I know you guys must feel the same way.

Anyone have good news, updates or tips to share? For anyone else on the Skype/video chat grind, I recommend Google Hangouts' "screen share" feature if you've never used it. You can watch TV/movies/videos/whatever at the same time, and be talking throughout :)

Met November, 2011.

Engaged July, 2013.

The way we are holding up is my fiancé just booked a flight here to spend a month with me. After reading how those that have just filed and were sent to CSC and are already being approved in such short times just made me a little sad knowing we are at TSC and who knows when our file will be processed. Maybe this year. This century. God only knows.

But being together for at least a month will help.
