Congrats again to all those who received their approvals.
We are January 13 NOA1. No Approval nor RFE for us.
Is there anyone here left in the mid-January time frame who has not had thei case acted upon? I ask only to try to determine when I should contact my Congressman and ask him to intervene to determine what happened to us.
If anyone has any opinions....how much longer should I wait? (I don't want to involve my Congressman until something is really wrong.) I just don't know what to do.

My case has already been approved but I had my USC fiance contact his senator as soon as our case hit 5 months, we received a reply a few weeks later saying that our case was pending and then surprisingly enough we were approved shortly after :) I'd say contacting them as soon as you can when outside of normal processing times is best. Worth a shot at least :)

Eric, I am of the opinion that you will feel better if you go ahead and contact your governor and/or congressman. You will feel as if you have some sort of control if only a little. Cheers

Thank you to everyone for all the congrats! To Eric: I did contact both my Senators and after signing a privacy release form they sent inquiries. This was less than a month ago so I don't know if that is what helped or not. It would not hurt to do this and you never know until you do it. After all they do work for us (or are supposed to). Hope your approval goes through SOON!

Hey all, January 22nd NOA1 one here. Been on here for the past 7 months but haven't posted anything yet...the past couple of weeks have started getting really really rough seeing everyone else get trough. Even on the USCIS case tracking app everyone around our receipt number has been approved or RFEd and nothin here:(

Just needing to vent a bit I guess...really frustrated at the system today. Sigh

I feel your frustration...January 23 here and everyone around me has also received either an RFE or approval already. Everyday brings a little hope and each night brings a lot of disappointment. I try not to focus on it but thats pretty much impossible at this point all I can think about is that Im going to be that unlucky person who when they move on to the next month gets left behind waiting and waiting.

I totally understand your frustration. Everyday we lived in hope it would happen. Since our filing dates are similar you should hear something any day. If you think your time has gone too far out you should call their office but expect a generic response. I had two Senators involved but I'm not sure they were the catalyst.
