Did you get an email, text, or just check your case status? I'm quite surprised they approved in the morning...or did you just check in the morning?

What is the app called?

And you didn't get an email or text?

Hey Charlie,

I signed up for an account with USCIS. Had my email linked to receive updates and my USC fiances phone number linked for him to receive a text. He received a text notifying him of an update on our account and I received an email notifying my of the approval. I then immediately checked USCIS case status online to see if it was real haha :)

Congrats to Rachel & David and to Scott & Vina on your happy news.

We're January 12th NOA1. No news yet. Getting tougher by the day. My fiance is in Japan and I'm very worried about "divorce decree" not being adequate because in Japan everything was done civilly (No Court was involved in Divorce, just paperwork filed at her City Hall). We sent in a document which was her ex-husband's Family Register, which noted the divorce, as proof. I'm just not sure that's going to suffice. If we're destined for RFE I'd just like to get on with it so we can respond with new documents if we can get them and lessen the delay. So, it's really nerve wrecking....

Quick question: With my I-129f I sent in a form to receive notice by e-mail. For my NOA1 I did receive an e-mail confirming they received the package.

It sounds like there something else I can sign up for to get notices. Is that the signup on the "MyUSCIS" portion of their website?

Anyway, despite our potential issues and the nervous waiting, I am truly happy for all of you who have received your approvals.

i-751 Sent 1/7/19
i-751 Received 1/9/19
Check Cashed 1/14/19
(G-1145 Email Receipt of case #: Never Received)
1/15/19: Called USCIS and given EAC Case Number

Eric,

Sign up to the my USCIS. When you do, your default settings will already be to receive notices by email. You can then also set it to send you notices by text as well.

Congratulations to you!!! My Fiance is also in Vietnam. I am hoping for some good news one day. But again Congratulations. Happy for the both of you :)

Thanks, Clawren86, I was driving home at 8:30 pm on the 14th when the text and email from USCIS came in at the same time on my phone, I pulled over right there and called my fiance in Saigon to tell her the good news, what a relief after 187 days! Best of luck to you and everyone else.
