Congrats. We have the same date and nothing for me yet :(

They've been knocking out a lot of January filers this week and last week. (I just signed up with Immifairy last week). Fingers crossed for you to hear tomorrow/this week! :content: We're UK buddies too. I'll be talking to you lots, I suspect. :P

Congrat for all. But Is there on website any update for approve? Cause i just check by online only

Yeah, it'll say "we have approved your petition" when you get NOA2, and then it will say "we have sent it to the department of state" when they send it to the NVC after.

Online is probably the best way to check anywya because my fiance never even got the NOA2 text message.

4/21/2016 - Got green card! :) No immigration worries til 2018!

Did he get an e-mail? Or just kept checking "My Case Status?"

Congrats to all Jan TSC'ers who have received their approvals!!!

We're January 12 and no news yet. Waiting is tough. I fear an RFE is slowing it down. The Japan Divorce decree is not a "decree" because divorces there are done at City Hall, not in a Court.

We'll just have to keep waiting. Uuuuggggg.

i-751 Sent 1/7/19
i-751 Received 1/9/19
Check Cashed 1/14/19
(G-1145 Email Receipt of case #: Never Received)
1/15/19: Called USCIS and given EAC Case Number

I'm Jan. 14th and still waiting. To make you feel better only 29% of January are approved so far. So there's still a lot more to go! Hopefully speedy approvals ahead! :)

Not according to ImmiFairy, apparently. It's 29% from what I've heard.

My fiance called up the USCIS yesterday and asked them why filers with NOA2's later than ours are getting approved while so many of the early January filers are still waiting. To this they had a very robotic reply of " Sir we are processing Sept/Oct petitions now, I don't understand how are you getting such statistics?"

Do the USCIS people think that we are a bunch of hunter-gatherers from the Stone Age? Obviously there is something called the "internet" and an amazing site like "Visajourney". We are all well connected and know what goes on at those service centers!

I made the mistake of calling yesterday too...the lady I spoke to graciously took the time out of her day to double check the processing times for me and was happy to inform me that as of July 2 they are processing Oct 8...like I didnt know that was coming. I think stated that that was the same date that it was updated to last month and she said well as of July 2 thats what they are working on. When I questioned that fact that no work was done for a whole month she said well it is what it is you are in normal processing time. I asked when she thought I would be outside of normal processing time considering the fact from her data she just gave me they arent currently working and she actually told me to call back in January. Im really glad I went into that call not expecting anything.

I'm going to run the risk of going against the grain here and maybe upsetting some of you. Comparing your cases to other people's in an exercise in futility if not frustration. No two cases are alike. It's no secret that the processes aren't always in perfect order. In fact there are STILL September files trickling in. While I don't think there is some huge processes going on when it comes to reviewing a petition, I do know that a background and criminal check is done on each petitioner and who knows how long that may take coupled with an obvious backlog? It makes sense that many come out of order. When I'm working on projects in my office, I don't sit on my hands while I wait for information from a client, I move on to the next project.

They are obviously approving January cases at the moment. They are obviously going in some semblance of monthly order even if picking cases here and there. Some cases may be more difficult than others due to a myriad of reasons. What doesn't make sense to me is why people call the centers when this method has been proven fruitless time and time again. Last I checked statistics, over 1000 cases were received in January (TSC). July marked the month where approvals really started to come in for January cases. That's 6 months. It seems they are averaging 20 petition approvals a day for January while simultaneously approving other months prior. December and January filers have actually had the shortest approval times when comparing to months prior. I'm sure that's no consolation, but keeping things in perspective may save a great deal of heartache and annoyance in the long run.

Oh...by the way....what is Immifairy?

ImmiFairy is the #1 source for real-time tracking of immigration petitions across all USCIS Service Centers. Please subscribe as a member to access the latest data.

Pulled that from their website. :) It's not as populated and social as VisaJourney yet (only 77 members), but the moderator Hannah sends subscribed members a detailed report every day after a USCIS approval day (so Tuesday morning through Saturday morning) with exactly how many people from each month are approved, sent RFEs, etc. To access these reports, you must subscribe though ($9.99 a month for basic level). It's helpful to see the movement in actual data. I only found out about it last week. :)

Here's to seeing more Januarys tonight and the rest of the week!
