Congrats everyone!!!! I have a question, so I got my approval July 1 by email/text, and the hard copy NOA2 on July 6th, do I still need to wait for the status change before starting a countdown to call NVC? Or does that start at NOA2 being received? Also, once I have the case number etc from the NVC is it better to wait for packet 3 or have my fiancé start the forms right away. I just don't want her to set up an interview and not get the packet...... Thoughts? Thanks!

Congrats everyone!!!! You can probably start calling 2 weeks after your electronic notice. Every embassy seems to be different on what you can do, so I'd have your fiance research how they prefer the documents prepared (electronic or mail). In some countries everything is electronic and as long as you have your case number from NVC you can get started.

We were also just approved!!

My fiance (USC) called yesterday for an update- our first time calling- and politely told them off etc- coincidence?!!!

Channeling a speedy outcome for everyone else ?

They sent ours to the NVC yesterday, after being approved june 30th. I'm surprised at how quickly they sent it, it gives me some hope we'll be married by November... although that might be a bit optimistic!

Hope the rest of you guys see your approvals soon, it seems like they're finally speeding up.

4/21/2016 - Got green card! :) No immigration worries til 2018!

I wouldn't be surprised if you could theoretically be married by the end of September!

I suppose it's possible, and that would be amazing, however I'm not holding my breath lol. I'll just be happy if they don't lose it at this point.

happy for you all January, i am February and you gives me hope with the approvals from the same month, by end of this month after hitting my 5 months and next month i could expect anything, i truly cant wait and congratulations everyone here
