Hi people.

I had my interview yesterday in Montreal and it was an horrible experience. Because of the stress I got confused when I gave the I-134 and the intent to marry to the agent and I gave him the photocopie and not the original (that I also had with me) he said is this an original, was it signed by hand (he looked with a magnificent lens) and because I wasn't in the bedroom with my fiancé when he signed it and I didn't know if he had used is electronic signature (he hadn't!) and because I had read the statement of the law I couldn't lie so I just said I don't know. I got really panicked. The agent finished my interview and told me I would approved your visa but I can't right now because of the fact that those aren't originals. I left with the instructions to sent the original via Loomis. When I got to my car I called my fiancé and he told me that he signed them by hand, with a black pen!!!! And then I looked at the documents that were left with me (the agent kept the other ones) and realized that in my file I had all the originals..... I tried to get back into the consulate but they never let me in. So yesterday I went to Loomis and sent the original.

Here's my question. How long does it usually takes for case in AP??

Is there any chance they could deny the one I sent because f the black ink or they can tell it's the originals?

Thank you

(A really crushed fiancé)

Hello,

Similar situation on my end...still waiting. Was told by the officer he can't approved as the i-864 was not the version my husband signed with a pen. Interview was Feb 9, Document delivered by Loomis on Feb 11 and waiting for an update. Status was updated on Feb 12, Feb 13 and Feb 17. Hope this is resolved soon as my husband is supposed to come pick me up to move on March 2....but Montreal's approximate timeframe for resolution is 6-8 weeks :(

6-8 weeks...... you've got to be kidding me.....

Montreal is historically slow at doing anything after the interview date. I'm sorry.
