Hi Everyone,

I am preparing my packets while I wait for the Case Number. I was wondering do they only want the beneficiary information or should you also have the petitioners? Example - birth certificates, passport copies, marriage certificates.

Beneficiary was never married, but petitioner was. Should the beneficiary include the marriage and divorce certificates of the petitioner in Packet 4?

Thanks!

Hi,

The petitioner's information was sent with the G325a and the first leg of the journey is basically security checks mostly on the petitioner. AOS is done by the petitioner. or sponsor, and the IV is all about the beneficiary. At this point any documentation has already been submitted to USCIS and forwarded to NVC. It is a good idea (as was in my case) to bring petitioner's documentation to the interview with you, but do not submit it to NVC. Gosh, you don't want to confuse them!! :D
