Our petition is already being processed by the National Visa Center and we're already scheduled for an interview on march 24, 2015. Now question is the main petitioner died last august 2014, what will happen to our case? Can we refund the IV processing fees if we opt to cancel the petition? thank you for your answers.

If the petitioner dies, the case is over. Humanitarian reinstatement is possible with a substitute petitioner.

If the beneficiary dies, it's over. There is no help as you can not have a substitute beneficiary.
