Picking Passport at Loomis

So I receive an email from the consulate + Loomis saying they have picked up the passport at the consulate and will be ready for pick up in a couple of days. I received that email on February 12... Apparently on the instructions it said that they will email + call to confirm when it's ready for pick up. I didn't receive any call.

This is the message:

Your passport has been picked up from the Consular Section and within the next few days you will be able to pick it up at:

DHL Lachine HOLD FOR PICKUP
2355 32nd AVENUE

LACHINE, QC
H8T3G9

Do I wait ???? What do I do? Does it mean I can pick up ?

Hi, I would suggest that you call them. I too tracked mine via Loomis' site - it arrived at the Markham depot (my preferred location) 1 day after it was picked up from Montreal then it went to Brampton depot(?!) where it sat for a few days. I kept checking the site and it still showed at Brampton. I finally called Loomis who said it was at the Markham depot. I was told that someone from the Markham depot would call me to confirm that but I never got that call. I called them back again and the person with whom I spoke actually called Markham to get confirmation that they do indeed have my package. And no, I also never got an email .

Is that where you requested to pick it up? Then call, make sure they're open and go get it.

I never got a call. The tracking showed as 'not ready for pickup' for a few days until I decided to just go there and there it was ready for pickup. Weird... so yeah, maybe try to call and find out more information. If you live close by just pop by and see if it's there just in case. Their notifications are just weird!

I was able to get email updates. As soon as it was ready I called to be sure and then sent my dad to pick them up!

I received an email from the consulate telling me it's ready for pick up. BTW, the Loomis location in Montreal is in a secluded area. I don't have car so I had to take the bus and I was so lost. It was the worst experience in my life (REALLY) and I do not wish this on anyone. The building doesn't even have Loomis written on it, it was some other name I can't remember.

I would have opted for home delivery (extra $$$) but I am not home most of the day (I work) and no one is at home to get it for me.

Ugh but finally I have the envelop and my passport and ready to get out of this hell whole (WINTER!)
