Advance Parole Approved (something is missing) and no EAD

In the beggining of November, after getting married, we sent all the documents needed for the Green Card, the Advance Parole and the Employment Authorization.

In the middle of the process we moved to a new house and did the change of address online, for some reason it was processed for the Green Card but it wasn't for the other two cases, and we received a RFE related to our address (for the AP and EAD). We sent everything needed for the RFE very fast and they've received them.

So, I got an e-mail update saying that my AP was approved, and today in the mail I got the Notice of Action I-797. Something in the text has really confused me and my husband. The notice says "The above application for an Advance Parole Document is approved. DOCUMENT IS ENCLOSED. It shows the validity dates of the document, and any conditions attached to the travel".

The only thing inside of the envelop was the Notice of Ation, nothing else! Am I missing something? Are they refering to the actual Notice or my envelop is missing a document?

Also, I read many posts saying that the AP and the EAD usually come together. I can see at the USCIS website, an update in the EAD case stating that they received my RFE. Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?

Thank you in advance!

If they approved and sent the AP alone without the EAD, then the AP is a paper document, and not a card. Is there no AP document either? Just the one page notice?

You need to contact the USCIS and speak to a tier 2 immigration officer about your case and status. You can also make an Infopass appointment and go in person to inquire.
