i'm not making a mockery of anything at all. you're the one suggesting we drop nukes and wipe out an entire area of people, innocent and guilty alike. how old are you and have you ever taken a history class? usually folks who are so reactionary are still in middleschool.

The comment was "However, this is a thread about the madness creeping our world at this very moment. " which would suggest something is happening now more than or for the first time ever. I disagree. In fact, so does history. But its a human thing to see things as getting "progressively worse" People will tell you "in this day in age" you never know what may happen when you leave your house. The cause of course being a belief in growing lawlessness or decreasing moral standards in this country despite all the stats showing crime steadily decreasing decade to decade. So its a human thing to assume things are "always getting worse" or "this next generation is disrespectful/lazy" or even that end of the world is coming. Its not.

Now, what I find absolutely repulsive, sir, is the notion that Nuclear bombs should be dropped on "ISIS". To "nuke the till they glow and shoot them in the dark" Yes, that's the expression. The notion that a viable option in response to this horrific acts would be to "nuke the middle east" or at the very least large sections of the area known to contain hundreds of thousands of humans. Humans that in many cases are women and children being occupied and brutalized by these ISIS terrorist scum. The idea of being 100% Ok.......even eager to lay waste to so many innocent women and children is to me, very repulsive. War is to be waged on the combatants...... only.
