Marvin we have plowed this ground so many times. The problem is the disproportionate number of blacks on welfare. Blacks and whites on Welfare are almost even in number. Yet whites are 72% of the population and blacks are around 14%.

When it becomes a generational way of life it's wrong no mater what race you are .

My solution is to make it much more uncomfortable to be on welfare than to work.

I.E. you got to do something everyday. Pick up trash. Go to school. Volunteer etc. It would be a start.

I don't really disagree with that. Maybe, throw in some special catering towards physically disabled people. IE, elderly people aren't the ones picking up trash. Making it "uncomfortable" may be a little harsh for initial recipients however. Maybe, its more uncomfortable the longer you're on it if you can't prove you're trying to make your own way. Of course that wouldn't help for mentally disabled people. And i'm sure they would qualify for public assistance.

Of course i don't mean disabled people. I also don't necessarily mean physically uncomfortable, just that you got to contribute to society in some way to get your check
