Hi,

We are about to begin this journey from Moscow. My wife and I have been married over 10 years, three kids and we jointly own property in both Russia and the US. We really should not have an issue establishing our Bona-Fides. Having said that, I would love to hear others' experience of how the system actually works currently.

  • How long can we expect the I-130 application to take in Moscow?
  • If we get the I-130 approved, how long is it valid for?
    • Would my wife be able to travel to the US under her existing non-immigrant visa during that time (presuming she can demonstrate the is not planning to stay forever on that trip?)
    • Are there any repercussions if she gets approved but does not move forward with the process?
  • How long is the processing time between an approved I-130 and issuance of the actual green card?

Thanks for your input.
