Hi All,

I got a letter from NVC 2 months ago which stated that " Your mailing/email address has been updated for this case ". And the end of the letter it was written:

Foreign Chargeability: Pakistan

Us Consulate: Islamabad.

What does this mean ? Is this mean that our file has been sent to Local embassy ( Islamabad/Pakistan ) and has been scheduled for the interview ?

Quick response will be highly appreciated.

-Thanks

This mean NVC has update your Email and mailing address of Pakistan only. They sent your case to Islamabad when they approved your civil documents and financial support I-864 . Do you submit DS-260 ?

Your case is at NVC till the approval. Now the important thing is that when you file the DS-260 . Please note without financial evidence and civil documents NVC never forward the case to Islamabad embassy. If you complete your timeline than I guide your much better. You can check my time line.

I don't know everything about my case because my uncle is doing all the paper work. But I know about the main phases. Last time we submitted all the documents to them and one document got missing. Then they asked for that document and then later on we sent that too. Now we are expecting the interviews. As we know after submitting the documents interview comes next.

Shobby Sahib the case is yours so you have to know all the matter and at interview you and your family members have to attend and present all the original documents that you submitted to NVC , the most important thing your email ID must register with NVC .

Yeah I know this thing. They either send every document to us in Pakistan or my uncle in US. And for email purposes they email to my uncle. And we have submitted DS-260 as well. And my uncle has submitted the affidavit of support and financial documents as well.
