ariani I think the 60 waiting days has been slashed into half, Woooooow. That's good for us... I saw 29 & 31 days CCs on your Spreadsheet, Is that right?

You can call them as much as you want...On the other hand, I would wait another 7-10 days... this is your prerogative.

Thanks for not forgetting about us Ariani :) as painful as it is I still check the spreadsheet...a big thank you from me as well for all your time & hard work keeping up with that!! Much much appreciated!

You are welcome... lately a lot of people are thanking me. I know I've missed an opportunity to reply to everyone as I'm at work, driving, shopping, etc -- pretty much dealing with the life. If you are one of those people let me just say THANK you right back for sharing your SD/CCs even CL.

I do want to say JennyLu hang on and be patient..the only thing we have in our control is our own behavior and actions. NVC may take 1 day or they make 100 but at some point THEY will have to review your file and give you an answer. Trust me when your spouse immigrates to the US and a new chapter starts we will all realise that all the pain, agony, misery...well it was worth it. If you look at the spreadsheet you can tell that you were in a middle of a sh*t storm full of CL...If I was in your shoes I would rather hope/pray for another hold up of 3 weeks and the outcome of a CC rather than a CL.

Hello,

I have just called to NVC and they need copy of original married cert and birth cert which is written in my language (different then english). I had submitted certified translations copy of birth certificate and married certificate but that didn't work. anybody had this issue before?

I has the same message about my marriage certificate....apparently they lost mine. So frustrating.

But WHY and HOW are they losing people's documents just like that? Is it administrative lapses or work load?
