The answer is no, you are not immigrating with your husband.

Familiasevilla is right. You're entering your husbands country (presumably under the legal status of a tourist) and returning to your home country; not emigrating.

Ok, so i answered no,and this came up

Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. at a later date to join you?

What now? Yes or no

Thank you all so much for helping. I am all alone and doing this on my own,and honest to God I cannot imagine what would i do if I had not found VJ.

I was told by a rep that the reviews are done in a different department and that they can't tell until the reviewer updates the system since they don't share the same location. Not sure if this is just another story.

hahah exactly why I am momentarily banning myself from calling anymore because I don't want to have to say "YOU ARE LIEING TO ME"

They obviously confirm CC's to people all day with February scan dates but then tell me they are running behind the 60 days and that people aren't finding out until after 60 days. The reps are not as dumb as some might give them credit for. They do this probably 8 hours a day and know the trends going on. So to me it's a blatant lie to my face, i mean ear. I can't understand it. Just say the processing times vary and we are working our best to complete the case, that is it.

The only sense I can make of it is that they're comfortably within their 60 day processing window for the majority of cases but don't want to admit that; because presumably if they did someone above them would ask them to reduce their target and put them under pressure again.

They definitely don't process first in first out. I'd love to know why.

Remember - you are answering this from the perspective of the beneficiary, not the petitioner. The answer is no, because you (the spouse) are already a USC.

So I googled it, and it turns out this is how they do it!

This is exactly what my wife and I thought, but when we asked the operators say that EVERYTHING is dealt with on a first-in, first-out basis.

Well..... I figure they are actually telling the truth when they say "everything is dealt with on a FI/FO basis..." The catch is, it's not the total truth.....

Somewhere in the wiki/Faqs/something there was a Q&A with someone who used to be a cog in the system. He said the files are stacked into a box them put on a shelf.... they are then *supposed* to be taken chronologically - but the files within each box are likely dealt with "first in / first out".... so while it's awesome seeing all these recent way-under-60 day completions, until a lot more roll in I'm thinking there may be a chance some reviewers grabbed those boxes ahead of other older ones - or something like that......

Best wishes to all!!

I will really cheer when we see the EP filers CC's come in faster!!!

That would make a lot of sense. I'm remaining optimistic; it looks like February approvals have been coming in for at least the past ten days now. Unless they're just consistently taking the wrong boxes off of the shelf...

Ariani on the first list of scans (one my names on), is it a mixture of paper scan and electronic scan? Just kinda wondering about all the inbetween names whether they are paper, electronic, perhaps checklist and/or just didnt report back in to say they got CC.

The main spreadsheet (all scan dates) includes any walks of life...1st time filers, 2nd time (from a checklist), 3rd times (2nd checklist), electronic, ETC.
