I Have a question here: Can some one send some documents he forgot to add 2 or 3 days latter? Will NVC combine to the two separate documents together? Please I need answer

Yes the sooner you send it the better. Sending in any additional documents will reset your scan date to the last mail that the NVC receives.

I'm not sure where to post this, so please move this if it's in the wrong place.

I got a checklist last week, and they need me to send Proof of Employment. The lady on the phone said to either send a letter from my work or my most recent pay stubs/ statements. I have two jobs. For one of them, I am sending my most recent pay statement (my taxable marital status on that pay statement is married). For the second one, I went to go make a copy of the pay statement and saw that my taxable marital status is listed as single. I am having this changed at work today, but it won't reflect for another 2 weeks when I get paid again. Is the 'single' status going to cause a problem? Should I just send a letter of employment from that job? And if I do send a letter of employment from one and a pay statement from the other, would that be odd?

Stressing out about this, so any help or advice would be appreciated!

Thanks :)

- Jenah

I do not think that matters as long as your tax information and 1-864 is correct. It sounds like they just want to vertify your income no need to stress

If you are sending Tax transcripts from the IRS then you do not need to send your W2.

This may be true, but my lawyer recommended having both from 2011-2014 for me to send to NVC.

I wanted to be extra sure that I sent everything they might ask for so I sent both transcripts and W2s for 2011, 2012 and 2013. I did not send anything for 2014 as my scan date is 1/21 and I hadn't even received all of my W2s for 2014 yet. I'm glad I didn't because someone posted here that they received a checklist for sending their 2014 W2 but not the transcript, which I thought wasn't even available until April 15, 2015.

FYI - I received CC on 3/12/15. Hope this helps

Hey, we both shared a scan date and also both got checklisted. What you need is 2 employment letters from these employers. Read the wiki I think that's where I found mine. If you can't find it let me know and I will my magic.

As far as your pay advices I noticed mine as well said "single" but they just mean that I am requesting to be taxed at the highest rate with 0 dependents. In my opinion this will have no bearing at the NVC...although if you FILED your taxes stating your single then that's a different game.
