20 MINUTES? I assume you are referring to calling them and not any processing although I suspect it actually takes 20 mins to Complete a Case. :)

Imagine it was 20 minutes instead of 60 days! They should have an option where you pay an extra like 200 to NVC to have it processed quicker. I bet most would pay it and then they could double their work force!

no not most.. all would pay it then we would still be at 60 day countdown with 200 less in our pockets :rofl::rofl:

Marriage : March 21, 2014
I-130 Sent : April 18, 2014
I-130 NOA1 : April 22, 2014
I-130 Approved: November 14, 2014 ( after two service request) 

NVC: 6 months
Received : December 1, 2014
Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : January 1, 2015
Pay AOS Bill : January 9, 2015
Submit DS-261 : January 7, 2015
Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)
Pay IV Bill : January 23, 2015
Send IV and AOS: January 29, 2015
Scan date: February 3, 2015
Checklist: March 19, 2015 (only need to send south Africa police report)
Case Complete: June 3, 2015 

EMBASSY: 10 months
Interview appointment letter : December 4, 2015
Interview Date : January 21, 2016 medical wasn't complete
Second interview date: April 4th 2016
Interview Result :APPROVED!!!
Visa Received : 4/13/2016 ( they sent us a email stating our visa was ready for pick up)

USA LIFE
US Entry :4/29/2016 
Social Security : 5/10/2016 (filed from the actual office)
State ID: 5/14/2016
Started working!!: 5/25/2016
Finally paid green card fee: 6/24/2016 ( note said we will receive it within 60 days)
Green card in hand: 7/5/2016 10 year green card we done!! 

1st king born: 6/30/2016

April 2017 update: Marriage still going strong, baby boy getting bigger. Life is good

Did Debbri18 actualy receive notification of CC or did you just see 3 N/As?

I also have three N/As but have no notification and I cannot ask them because it has not been 60 days...

Is it 100% certain that 3 N/As = CC????? Someone help me, I am losing my mind!!!

yes. 3 N/As is CC. My friend got checklist . His didn't changed to 3 N/A . call NVC and find it. congrat...

Has anyone ever heard any wait time from NVC other than 20 mins?? I think they just took an average and it tells you 20 mins every single time :rolleyes: Typical!!!!! haha

HAHAHA... yeah 20 minutes. I wish! I got the 20 minute spiel last night and I was on hold for 45 minutes....I was starting to fall asleep LOL (it was late!)

K1 filed - 6/8/11 // Interview @ Mumbai Consulate - 1/5/2012: Denied // USCIS final decision - 3/15/2013; administratively closed and free to file again without prejudice

Married in Delhi - 1/30/2014

Sent I-130: 4/7/2014 NOA 1: 4/10/2014

NOA 2: 11/13/2014 (after 217 days)

NVC Received: 11/26/2014 (13 days from USCIS to the NVC)  // Case # & IIN # received - 12/29/2014 (via phone to NVC) Also sent email to get case transferred to New Delhi

NVC Welcome Letter received: 12/30/2014

Submit DS-261: 12/30/2014 // Paid AOS Bill: 1/2/2015  // Received IV Bill & Paid: 1/13/2015 (CEAC shows PAID 1/15/15) // DS-260 submitted: 1/17/2015

CASE COMPLETE!!: 3/12/2015 (50 days) // Case Complete Email Received: 3/19/2015 (7 days from CC date)

Interview Date Received via phone inquiry to NVC: 3/24/2015 // Packet 4 (Interview letter/Instructions) received: 3/25/2015

Medical Completed: 3/30/2015 // CEAC status: In transit to Mumbai and shows READY as of 4/1/2015

Biometrics Completed: 5/4/2015 // Received call from Embassy 5/11/2015 asking if we want to transfer to Delhi.....huh? One week prior to interview? Ummm.... no thanks!

INTERVIEW!! 5/18/2015 @ 7:30 am ~ Mumbai Consulate  RESULT: APPROVED!!!

Visa in hand: 05/20/2015 (Yay!) ELIS Fee ($165) paid this day as well

POE: 05/29/2015 Newark 

SSN card received: 6/8/2015 (processed on 6/2/2015) // ELIS shows "Optimized" since 5/30/2015  // ELIS changed to "In Process" 07/14/2015. (E-file received 06/25/15)

GREEN CARD RECEIVED!! 7/30/2015

Sent:  3/22/2017 | $680 Check cashed: 4/3/2017

NOA1: 3/30/2017 (Rcvd 4/3/2017)

Biometrics Appt letter received: 4/22/2017 - Biometrics date:  5/3/2017 - Done. Hubby said they were super friendly in the Pittsburgh field office!

What do they mean by: DO NOT CHECK THIS LINE OR BELOW/ABOVE?

Hmmm you, your spouse and 4 kids are 6 not 5

Sorry I can't help you:( I don't have experience with this kind of checklist....

As someone else said....it would be great if you could provide us copy of your checklist....with hidden personal information and $ amount.

Just got off the phone with Waldo at NVC. I'm on day 54 and my case hasn't been reviewed....and "it's 60 day minimum, right now they are running a week or two out" ummmm right....that's why people are getting CC closer to 50. Uhhh clearly I got put on the slow reviewer's desk but I guess I should be relieved I didn't get news of a checklist.

The not knowing is killing me. :sleepy:

USCIS

10-24-14 : I-130 sent from South Africa to Chicago Lockbox

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

I'm with ya! I'm on day 56 and was hoping we would have heard something by now! I haven't been able to call NVC because we live in Mexico, but will be calling tomorrow when I cross the border! Does this mean we still have a week or two to wait!? Still praying for no checklist!
