Did she give a reason? More snow? A team building break-away? Someone's birthday? :)

Just the backlog was her only reason. I asked her for an estimate when she said 'no, your case isn't done yet' and she hemmed and hawed for a few minutes and I could hear her clicking on things and then finally said 'I wouldn't expect to see much action for anyone until next week, but you will probably hear something then.'

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

Just found this on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/bd/index.html?firstTime=No not sure if they are related ....

Attention :

U.S. embassies and consulates are currently experiencing technical difficulties due to systems maintenance that may result in delays in visa processing and receiving and sending email. Additionally applicants who have interviews for student and exchange visitor (F/M/J) visas scheduled for this week should bring proof of payment for SEVIS fee.

LOL , not laughing at you, just with you. That is such a pathetic answer.

When was your scan date? From what I can see Jan 12th, your cc should have happened a long time ago.

Our CC is only March 2nd - its annoying it feels like it has been an age, when in reality only 2 weeks :(

Also I am nervous, as for our joint sponsor we sent in her birth cert which is in her maiden name... I don't want a checklist; sent in an expired passport copy too; so hopefully common sense prevails...

Updated...congrats on the CCs

Sorry but mine isn't cc yet. I was only sharing that Debbri18 got one. I changed my screen name so I am on the spreadsheet already but under Jennyfer (sd 2/6) if you want to update my name there though that would be great. Sorry for the confusion ;)
