I-130 Sent : April 18, 2014
I-130 NOA1 : April 22, 2014
I-130 Approved: November 14, 2014 ( after two service request) 

NVC: 6 months
Received : December 1, 2014
Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : January 1, 2015
Pay AOS Bill : January 9, 2015
Submit DS-261 : January 7, 2015
Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)
Pay IV Bill : January 23, 2015
Send IV and AOS: January 29, 2015
Scan date: February 3, 2015
Checklist: March 19, 2015 (only need to send south Africa police report)
Case Complete: June 3, 2015 

EMBASSY: 10 months
Interview appointment letter : December 4, 2015
Interview Date : January 21, 2016 medical wasn't complete
Second interview date: April 4th 2016
Interview Result :APPROVED!!!
Visa Received : 4/13/2016 ( they sent us a email stating our visa was ready for pick up)

USA LIFE
US Entry :4/29/2016 
Social Security : 5/10/2016 (filed from the actual office)
State ID: 5/14/2016
Started working!!: 5/25/2016
Finally paid green card fee: 6/24/2016 ( note said we will receive it within 60 days)
Green card in hand: 7/5/2016 10 year green card we done!! 

1st king born: 6/30/2016

April 2017 update: Marriage still going strong, baby boy getting bigger. Life is good

got interview date as predicated 4/15/15

scan date 1-13-15

cc 3-10-15

interview 4-15-15

suggestion please call NVC after your 50th day . you will know or get hint weather its CC or check list. if you think you made mistake in AOS and you passed the 30th day countdown. do not resend any corrected documents. wait for NVC email.

common mistake in AOS:

1 : Address of your beneficiary abroad.

2: Income total on section 6 . please make sure not to forget to put total at 10 of section 6

3: Your current income is the income you MADE LAST YEAR. EVEN THOUGH TAX IS NOT FILED.

4: Dont forget to sign and date.

2. As per visa journey members current income is ur expected income this year, thats what i wrote.

Hi, I've been seeing 3 N/A's for about a week now but I have received no email or confirmation from the NVC.

What is going to happen now? I'm really confused.

Interview Scheduled: August 27th 2015
Medical Date: Sept 11th 2015(Passed!!!)
Registered our appointment online: Sept 16th 2015
Interview Date: Sept 29th 2015 Approved!!
Visa in Hand: October 1st 2015
POE: 11th October 2015 - Philadelphia

Whats your scan date?

I don't even know what that is. All I know is that the DS260 was completed about 50 days ago a page of the AOS that they wanted updated was sent. Is the scan date when they received that final page? I never received confirmation that they received the page but my lawyer might have.

Oh btw, my NVC status is "AT NVC"

Oh, ok. i understand now, since you are using a lawyer, then you might not know the progress. Scan date is the day they scanned receipt of your documents (AOS/IV). Otherwise you may have to call NVC since you have your case number to confirm CC or ask your agent to do it.

My guess is, you have a Case Complete at NVC awaiting interview scheduling..Congrats!

Oh, ok. i understand now, since you are using a lawyer, then you might not know the progress. Scan date is the day they scanned receipt of your documents (AOS/IV). Otherwise you may have to call NVC since you have your case number to confirm CC or ask your agent to do it.

My guess is, you have a Case Complete at NVC awaiting interview scheduling..Congrats!

This website suddenly has become my latest addiction... As though my CC is this week..lol. I am celebrating everyone's CC! As i prepare to for my HipHip Hoooorrrraaayyyy!!! PPPrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Let's celebrate each other's achievements.. It makes the long journey a lot more bearable!

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions
