That's great!! I need to follow your footsteps again, I'll start calling tomorrow asking if our interview has been scheduled yet! I wonder when they will send you the interview email?? Does that happen a lot, when people call in and receive their interview date before getting the email?? So inefficient of NVC.. ?

None of us want to fight over that "award". : ) I never contacted them during that long wait, I wish I had but never having done this before I was naive. It does make one question what took place though. Can't say my NVC experience has been much better either.

Fingers crossed for some positive news this week.

No thank u, lol...i really don't know why it takes so long for them to approve your case at uscis, they kept saying that ur case requires extra security checks, but i don't believe that. I feel like they just misplace your file and and only realize its there until you send in an e-request...but thank god mine is out after more than 10 months and now at NVC....hoping we all hear good news from them this week..

Hi! So you're another 2013 filer then? What's RFE? Our I-130 ended up being approved late summer of 2014 after almost 9 months of silence. Since then we've been stuck at the NVC. Basically each time we need to submit evidence we find we wait well past the 60 plus days for a review and if you contact them prior you get the same line, 60 days hasn't passed yet. Does anyone else get this?

Like you, we've really started to bash our heads.

you're not alone. My husband filed i-130 back in july 2013. We received rfe twice. Approved in october 2014. 15 months with uscis and now 5 months with NVC Since they assigned case no back in December. On top of that we received checklist too for putting n/a instead of year 2013 on 1 item only. And to be honest we are like on the edge of giving up.. but still surviving :)

This is the same boat we are in. We got a checklist for evidence we sent back in January. It took them 65 days to even give us a status update. They asked for a correction to the AOS. So we corrected and went with the prior tax years still since April 15th hadn't passed yet. The comments that some got check listed for 2014 taxes has me worried.

we did not include tax 2014 either when we sent the corrected aos for a checklist we received in March, 26.

We asked the supervisor and she said if they received the documents before April 15, it should not be a problem to include tax info up to 2013 only. On top of that they did not mention this on our checklist.

I know I cant really take her words for granted as I see people getting checklisted for not including tax 2014 even if their sd is before April.

Could you please add my new scan date: 4/23/2015. (Initial scan date 3/26/2015, AOS checklist: 4/21/2015).

Also, I was wondering if when we get a checklist, all mistakes that we might have done with all submitted documents are listed on it. For instance, we got a checklist for our I-864 (AOS), can it be that we get a checklist for an unrelated document to the I-864 like a birth certificate checklist?

Thanks for the info if any one has a clue!
