Congrats Kemtan on your CC. Just some advice to avoid anymore checklist....I was told by NVC Rep that I have a checklist for Police Certificate. I'm currently waiting on my husband to receive and send it to me. Now I'm wondering if I should also send my 2014 tax transcript just to avoid another checklist. Would it hurt to send it if they don't request it?

You're following about the same as me. My first SD Jan 26 with a checklist April 1. New SD same as you, April 9th. Let's hope they get to both of us faster this time around.

I think I have to agree and question why people with scan dates prior to April 15 are getting checklisted for 2014 taxes. It was my understanding that if your documents arrived prior to April 15 they shouldn't ask for 2014 taxes. I had read somewhere that instead you'd be told to bring them to an interview, should one be scheduled.

How many with SD's prior to April 15th are getting a checklist wanting the 2014 taxes now?

Both of those SDs already are on the spreadsheet.

Can a person send the IRS a request now for the 2014 transcripts since April 15th passed and be able to get them to have on hand?

I was advised that even though the time for filing taxes for 2014 was still pending, I would still be required to produce 2014 tax return document during interview if scheduled after April 16. My case was assigned a number in mid January but waited to get my W2 forms, did my taxes and used the 2014 tax returns documents to complete the AOS. I only sent 2014 tax documents, with employment letter and 3 months pay stubs. It is advisable to have the tax documents ready. I couldn't get the 2014 transcripts when I filed because it takes time, but have now asked to get through the mail for interview.

My scan date was 2/17/15 and case complete 4/09/15 with no checklist. No interview yet.

Best to you all, you have been a source of support to me and many others. I was unable to add my info to the spread sheet.

I was able to print my 2014 tax transcript right from the website just the other day. It's much quicker to print from there instead of waiting for them in the mail. IDK if it makes a difference which form was filed or not (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, etc) I filed the 1040,

hey, so in this case you have two options:

1. If you don't want to wait until your husband files the 2014 tax return, you guys can go ahead and send copy of 2014 tax return extension (Form 4868) that your husband must filed with IRS to take care of this checklist.

2. In case if you decide to wait until he files the return, in this scenerio you dont have to wait for IRS to process transcript (You will be waiting a while if you wait for IRS to process transcript). What you guys can do is send the copy of 2014 tax return (make sure to use the same version that is being filed with IRS) along with copy/copies of 2014 W-2 and it should take care of this checklist.
