U guys are Probably correct but I was providing more info and i got punished. So one thing in my mind - what role the priority date, current date and interview date play. Are ppl getting interview prior to their priority date becoming current? Or after.

Scan date #2: 2/5/2015
Case Complete: 4/14/2015 FINALLY super-happy-dance-smiley-emoticon.gif

Interview: 5/12/2015

RESULT: Approved (finally on 2/10/2016 after 8 months in AP)

Visa in Hand: ?

Updated...Not sure user-- give it about 3 weeks or get addicted to the spreadsheet and check it 10x a day everyday. LOL

Question: How long to receive Checklist E-mail?...I have been waiting for a checklist e-mail since April 15, when I got the bad news.

in about a week, that is how long it took for me, my guess you will have it tomorrow

Original SD : 01/23/2015

Check List : 04/01/2015

New SD : 04/09/2015

Case Completed: 05/07/2015

Interview Date: 11/10/2015

NVC Received: 11/26/2014 (13 days from USCIS to the NVC)  // Case # & IIN # received - 12/29/2014 (via phone to NVC) Also sent email to get case transferred to New Delhi

NVC Welcome Letter received: 12/30/2014

Submit DS-261: 12/30/2014 // Paid AOS Bill: 1/2/2015  // Received IV Bill & Paid: 1/13/2015 (CEAC shows PAID 1/15/15) // DS-260 submitted: 1/17/2015

I am getting a little tense and confused in the process. So these people don't always send an email of the checklist right away? In that case how could you know you have one? so NVC current date is sept 2013. So urs is 2013 april 10th that means ur PD is within current date. Thanks

The way I found out I had a checklist the first time is by calling. I didn't get the e-mail for two weeks but had already sent the papers in that they told me I was missing over the phone. My new SD is also 3/30 (My husband will be interviewing at Kenya consulate, too, btw) so hopefully we will get some news within the next couple days!!! You can always call and ask for any information, however, I wouldn't stress (or try not too, haha) about it just yet. Wishing for the best for both of us!!!

My checklist SD is also on March 30th and hopefully we will hear something by the end of this week.

12/12/2014 TSC shipped case to NVC.

12/19/2014 NVC received.

01/26/2015 Case # assigned and completed DS-261.

01/30/2015 Received AOS invoice and paid.

02/02/2015 Mailed AOS + IV packets

02/10/2015 Scan date for AOS + IV packets

03/23/2015 Received a checklist for AOS

03/27/2015 Mailed checklist response

03/30/2015 Checklist scan date

04/22/2015 Case completed at NVC

I am going to call as well tomorrow. So nervous! Haha! Kenya has a special place in my heart! I've lived in Kitale on and off the past 4 years, and my husband has lived there 6 years!!! :)

My checklist SD is also on March 30th and hopefully we will hear something by the end of this week.
