Guys I started this thread and created 'the spreadsheet' on 2/16 and it's only fitting that I say the following on 4/16.

1) THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who provided your personal info (Vj name, dates, etc).

2) I am surprised, shocked, excited, happy, that this became the hottest and most discussed thread on VJ

3) Thank you other moderators.... seriously we NEED more people to add/update entries. It's not exactly rocket science.

Now do you want to know something UBER cool? With the power of the community we are getting VERY close to being able to predict CC's at very high accuracy; high being over 80%. To those who have been following the spreadsheet for a while I inferred that SD 3/1 and newer would receive CCs in or under 35 days. As of today this estimate has been spot on for the very least 90% of people...although once all March SD's figures are in that rate will be even higher.

I did the math if NVC receives 3,000 cases a week that's about 150-160k a year. I ran the math and we would need at least 384 reviewed cases to be able to predict with 90% accuracy (0.95 x 0.95 = 90.25%). It turns out that a representative sample remains the same @ 384 even if NVC were to receive 200k+ cases a year. The magic number is at least 384 reviewed cases... the statistic page tells me that we are tracking (as of this moment) 296 cases and of those about 233 have received answers. WE ARE HALF WAY THERE !!!!

TL;DR The more this spreadsheet grows the more accurate the "trending graph" becomes in predicting future case reviews.

I can not believe it! I opened my email and got an email from NVC. I assumed it was confirmation of our case complete. When I read down further there was an interview date and time. We are scheduled for May 7th! It seems surreal, our CC was 4/13. (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania)

Ariani, thanks for adding me on your spreadsheet! I couldn't figure out for a long time where did this spread sheet come from until I found this wonderful thread :) Let me join you :)

So, my scan date is March 30. When I would supposedly get a CC? I know it can't be extremely precise, but it is so great to hope and dream.

I have sent the checklist documents to NVC today with arrival delivery by tomorrow 04/17 at around 10:30am...I labeled every piece of document both single and double sided with my NVC case number..I made sure to submit everything including fixing the error on my affidavit of support..I have a great feeling in my heart I will too receive the best news of a case complete soon. Thank you all who have given me support,prayers,& courage to not giving up..I pray this is just a small bump to the journey of one day being with my husband.

Thanks ariani for that piece of detail and all the time and effort you have put into this, we appreciate so so much. Congrats to those with CC and interviews. Those of us waiting lets put he armor of perseverance and we will all get our loved ones where we are.

I have only been waiting for only 17 days but thought I would bug them a little, a nice lady told me that my documents are under review so hopefully last week of March completes will be coming next week :lol: .

Just call NVC GOT AOS CHECKLIST, so sad.. just wait email from them?????
