Could they have just moved all the man power to review the cases ONLY? This process is like a maze, you think you are almost out but you find you still have a lot of time left in the process. God help us all  .

Just want to share my happiness here on vj. My husband and 5 years old daughter just got back from their interview. And guess what, they both got approve!! I am so happy and I feel like I'm dreaming right now. My lonely days are finally over. Goodluck to everyone who are still waiting. Keep praying and you will all get there soon.

mrs thb,

I don't know why I missed this but CONGLATULATIONS!

thank you so very kindly...yours is coming soon! hang in there.

Did someone ask NVC or the Embassy what is the reason for not scheduling the interviews?

i just got cc, and asked extensively about what's next, how long, why a delay and rep just read her script...you will be notifed when your interview is to be scheduled....blah, blah, blah....I believe reps don't know....

just another time piece... :clock:

My cc was 26th for Amsterdam Consulate which both NVC and Consulate say its a dead one, not to many people immigrate from there compared to other places. Consulate confirmed they have MANY openings and are not understanding WHY NVC is taking so long setting up interviews. Sure would be nice to know whats going on with the interviewing scheduling. I get the same blah blah blah response as you.

Them: how can I help you

Me: wondering status on my case

Them: just waiting for interview to be scheduled and opening slots, we will notify you when one is scheduled.

Me:how long does it take? wheres the problem lay?

Them: we wait for embassy to post interview availability dates.

Me: okay this cant be true? I talk to the embassy, three times as a matter of fact. they confirmed what 3 other NVC employees confirms "they dont understand the hold up Amsterdam is NOT a busy consulate. further more embassy said they HAVE plenty of openings so they dont know why its taking so long."

Them: well i certainly can request a expedite if you'd like?

Me: on what basis that im dam impatient and wanna know what the hold up is? Yeah cause thats gunna be approved. No thanks i'll wait, have a wonderful day.

Hey..if your scan date is Feb 17 then better u call NVC..you might need to go through supervisor review or something..It shouldn't take this long dear!! People with scan dates almost after month of yours have started getting CC..you dont have to wait any more for 60 days..NVC rep also says that now its 45 days..I believe you should call NVC as your 45 days wait is already over...all the best!!

Seems as if there is No point calling NVC.. They keep ranting same thing!! Its frustrating I know but we have no option other than waiting..Either consulate or NVC, someone is lying...God knows what is holding them up..

Avandongen, I am starting to create a speculative hypothesis that perhaps the IT system that both NVC and the Embassies are using, is causing the problem. It almost looks like the communication is causing improper conclusions for the NVC side.

It is useful to call both parties and cite the responses that you received. There may be an update from the Embassies that the rep cannot directly see in the system.

Let me see what I can do on my end to find out more.

A thought just crossed my mind so I guess i'll share it here:

-Could it be that the NVC is predicting retrogression in the upcoming May 2015 visa bulletin? (which hasn't been published yet)

a. & because of this they are delaying scheduling visa interviews?

I could be wrong, and I probably am but thing thought just came to my mind and thought i'll share it here :)

Thanks
