Scan Dates & Case Completes (CC)

Let me try to answer your question so it doesn't go unanswered. Your scan date is only one when they received both AOS and IV documents. That's when the previously 60 days but now 45 days starts. There is no timeline review of the DS-260 or fees towards case complete although we all know they must check these when reviewing the both packages. I have seen in this forum people get their IV and DS-260 completed a few days before they get their case completes.

Is your scan date 3/2/14 or 3/2/15?

Yep! We completed our 260 on April 3, then got case complete on April 9....fast! Less than 30 days from scan date. People with checklists are also getting through in less than 30 days.

Thanks for the reply. It's 2015 not 2014, sorry for the confusion. Yeah its weird coz they made me pay aos fee then sent financial docs ( I sent civil alongwith) then review them in 45days timeframe then only pay iv fee and ask for ds-260 after iv fee is paid. They also ask my 1040 for 2014 since I sent w2 only coz tax filing wasn't due then. Now it's lingering somewhere in hyperbola.

Scan Date (EP): Feb 20th 2015

Checklist Email Rcvd: April 9th 2015 (Original Birth Certificate )

Checklist Response Email Sent : April 10th 2015

So new scan date: April 10th 2015???

now wait again for 60+ days for case complete? or will it be sooner?

I called NVC to confirm if everything else other than birth-certificate has been reviewed or not, rep said everything else looks good.

Thank You for your efforts for logging and maintaining this data.

Regards,

VJ Fan

We received checklist for birth cert as well. My last scan date for that was March 10 and still nothing-others with scan dates after are getting cc's. I had hoped that it would be reviewed sooner since it was just that form and everything else was ok but that has not been the case. NVC seems pretty random though so don't lose hope-it could be quick!

Same as her ^ Amsterdam suppose to be a fast one and quite a dead consulate. Should have an interview scheduled "about" 3-7 days after case close according to consulate. My cc was 26th of March. Still nothing.
