CC confirmation email arrived today, a week after CC confirmed by phone.

Unfortunately no interview date yet.

It's all Embassy/Consulate dependent on how busy they are. It took 13 days from CC to get my interview date. Best of luck to you!

Still waiting on interview date also Didn't think Netherlands - Amsterdam Embassy/Consulate was a busy one, I had assumed it be a faster one (silly me, whats fast about ANY of this immigration stuff?).

Unfortunately Frankfurt used to be a fast one according to German timelines...Hopefully all is well with the file...

Exactly what I was thinking about Germany - Frankfurt. Looking at German entries at the spreadsheet usually interview was scheduled within 7 days after CC.... Oh well...

Can someone help please,any suggestions or information is greatly appreciated..

My husband and I have been filling out the DS 260. As it is difficult for my husband to do the DS 260 because it is in English and he is only fluent in Spanish. Also because he does not have a computer to sign and complete the form,is it ok to log under the petitioner (which is I) sign and submit the form on his behalf. Should I log in as the applicant and sign? We have already submitted the AOS & IV package to NVC,our scan date was March 20th.

Please remember that when signing documents for the NVC - signatures need to be ORIGINAL when mailing in docs.

YES that is fine.. I believe we all have done it. and its not a real signature its electronic I think you just hit submit or something and that's it. you can do it on his behalf

YES that is fine.. I believe we all have done it. and its not a real signature its electronic I think you just hit submit or something and that's it. you can do it on his behalf

Yes - sorry for the confusion. The DS 260 is electronic.

Once you move on to the Affidavit of support (and if you are mailing the AOS in - not filing electronically) - you need to have an original signature on the AOS.

I filled it in on my husband's behalf and I believe a lot, if not most, do it this way
