Scan date 27th Feb. My case got completed (as confirmed on phone by NVC). But, no N/A seen on site..Friends dont rely completely on this N/A thing..Follow sheet made by ariani and if you feel your scan date is passed then call NVC..

Dont know when and how interview date are scheduled...any idea friends?

The NVC will schedule for interviews depending on the country for the time. I have seen other members from India getting interview rather fast

Do i need to call them requesting to schedule interview date or will they do it on own and just intimate me date

no you do not need to call them, you can if you want to but the nvc will schedule it and send you an E-mail

I think, it depends on the visa category. Family- and work-based visa is scheduled by the Embassy, while fiance-based petitioners may schedule themselves through the Embassy system. Give them a call. Each country may vary.

Any time you send documents to NVC (by mail or email) they will SCAN your documents into their imaging system. Call them to confirm they have received your AOS and IV packet and ask them as of WHAT date. Good luck. You may want to read the wiki for more information.

Great! so I received a letter from NVC on Mar 17th mentioning that they received my AOS and IV package on March 13, in that way my Scan date is March 13, hoping to receive good news pretty soon.

Unfortunately I haven't had any luck with that and have called almost every day for the past 2 weeks. After I hit 60 days the speech changed from "it takes 60 days to review" to "it takes AT LEAST 60 days to review". I really don't think the reps have much information to share unless it is currently under review which pops up on their monitors.

So I don't blame them at all but I guess my concern now is that my file is lost somewhere, so I'm thinking maybe the congressman approaching them will at least force them to locate the file and bring to their attention I'm on day #67. Who knows! But calling the reps certainly isn't getting me anywhere. The lady I spoke with today even said "I don't know what date they are processing. They don't give us that info."

Kels2487, I recommend to ask the senator for expediting the process. In my case, NVC took it seriously and sent a message to the Consulate. The Consulate thought about it for 10 days, but they finally approved it and yet apologized for the delay.

I think we'll call the senator's office today and ask for an expedite, we've been waiting for their CRA P since Oct 28, 2014!!

that's it, we have to fight back! almost 6 months and our case is not touched yet! it took them 2 months to generate the IV bill, because they have an error in the system, and now God knows what they did to our papers.

Hey sorry about that i was trying to send that msg to ariani, but anyways my scan date was March 9th. They are asking for a police certificate from my country of birth which is Guyana,SA. I applied for it already but its taking time..
