Scan Dates & Case Completes (CC)

I found out 10 days ago that I got a checklist, and after one week without getting an e-mail I called again and they told me what I needed to send. I sent them in yesterday with the barcode cover sheet that I sent the first time. Of course, this morning I woke up to the checklist e-mail and it says I must include "this" cover sheet when submitting this form and a copy of the letter in the e-mail. Do I need to resend everything again? Or is the original barcode sheet I got okay to have used? Thanks in advance for your advice!

As of around 5pm yesterday, I did not have 3 N/As but just logged in and saw those 3 beautiful N/A! This is going to be a long weekend waiting to call and confirm on Monday but hoping we have CC!! Scan date 2/26!!

After waiting 50 days for 2/5 scan date I get another "60 day letter". I have NOT sent anything. This is my fourth scan date. I dont understand whats going on with my Case. I did speak to a supervisor "Sylvia" on Tuesday, sounded all sweet and said. "don't worry, i will see what i can do to move your case forward." She just reset my 60 day. ..AHHHH!! I dont know what to do.

I have same situation, I called NVC on 26th and they said i need to send copy of orginal birth cerificate and marriage certificate even i had submitted certified copy of those documment and NVC rep said i can send those by using the same cover sheet what i used first time. I have sent those documment yestarday. still didn't receive checklist email. I think we will be ok.

Hi, all! I have sent in my AOS in January, and just send in my IV packet 3/25/15 (all fees are paid and marked paid as well). I called NVC last night to just see if they received the IV packet yet (best way to spend a Friday night ). I was told the AOS packet is already scanned and has no issues (yay).

Any idea how long it takes for a scan date to be given once a packet has been received? Any estimates?

it varies, some people are getting case completes in ~38 days, others are still the 60 days, like the letter states. it appears though, sending your packages in via snail mail or express gets you a cc quicker than those who have EP'd.

So I am predicting with 60% certainty that SD beginning with March will receive a review within 35 day window. Don't believe me? Hop into the newbie threads and you will learn that case creation (case#) time frames have been reduced from 42 days to about 7-14 days (currently avg around 10 days).

Congratulations to everyone who is and will receive a CC... we all deserve to be with our loved ones.
